On the train this morning it broke my heart a little bit to see a young boy, aged maybe 14 or younger, nervously rolling a cigarrette. Every bit of me wanted to say something or tell him to stop...but then who am I to tell him not to smoke at such an age.
It was a university morning where we had presentations in our e-marketing module, which went well. Afterwards, I sorted out my train and metro card for the next month and then headed home for lunch. I did a quick clean down of the kitchen and then spent some time replying to emails. I did a little bit of sports still before leaving the house again to go teach my first private english lesson. With the girl, we talked and I helped her correct and understand a few grammatical mistakes in her homework. Two clients so far... It'll be a good and fun way to make contacts and earn a little extra pocket money.
Very hungry, I walked through Lyon which was beautifully lit, and made my way home. I got off the train to find my aunt waiting with the car at the station, because she didn't want me walking the last 5 minutes home alone in the dark, how sweet!
