Monton Lighthouse

This lighthouse, 35 miles inland at Monton, on the banks of the Bridgewater Canal has successfully prevented numerous canal barges from floundering onto the rocks adjacent to the medical centre next door.

Where would we be without it? Well, I would be still scratching around for a photo for today.
