Homes
Jackson's new piano lesson is a short drive away so I took the opportunity of Carl being at home to stay with Anna to go for a walk and explore a new area. Lots of the usual Victorian terraces but also lots of new builds too. And all very nice looking. These ones particularly caught my eye. They are on two sides of a park and, I'm not quite sure why, but to me they have a very continental European feel to them, I could quite imagine myself in the streets of suburban Holland. If you look closely at the top balcony you might make out the rainbow flower pots.
The walk also reminded me how much I love this time of year and as the dusk came all the houses and flats with lights on seemed so cosy and inviting.
The rest of the day has been mainly working and house stuff with a brief interlude to realise we have no childcare this week so I shall be fitting two whole days into half ones. Not stupidly busy at the moment so I'm hoping the effects will be minimal.
Now for the last ever Breaking Bad episode. I sort of know how wrong it is how sad this makes me. And I sort of don't.
