Wild swimming

Our hosts here in Piemonte recommended this wild swimming spot to us. Amazing, we would never have found the start of the 45 minutes walk to this nor have had the courage to carry on when the path became very vague on many occasions without their information.

We had to ford the river at one point - unnecessarily as it turned out, on the way back we found the right path! But it did add more adventure.

A fabulous swim in a decidedly cold pool. We had a great italian picnic with us (purchased using my limited Italian), all that was missing was some wine.
