Millstone

A little pale sun shine this morning, although it feels a bit cooler and breezier than yesterday. I went for a little wander down Windmill Lane today, looking for acorns and conkers - found a few of the former, but no conkers to be seen. I spotted this millstone in the yard of the windmill - it must have been one of the original stones that got replaced when they renovated the mill earlier this year. I thought it looked rather attractive surrounded by flowers - I hope they decide to keep it.
