It's a Long Way Down . . . . .
. . . . . to the Arrow River, 80m beneath this suspension bridge. My daughter and I walked along the Queenstown Trail this afternoon, from Arrow Junction towards the bungy bridge. It was a gorgeous Spring afternoon, beautifully sunny and warm, and we thoroughly enjoyed our (quite long) walk. The funds for building the Queenstown Trail have come from all corners of the Wakatipu Basin and beyond. It's a feat of community spirit and a wonderful asset. It's either for bikers or walkers. There were great views of the Remarkables, Coronet Peak and Brow Peak. This image is of my daugher (Wirihana South) checking out just how far down the river really is - the blurb says it really is 80m/263'. You can check the Queenstown Trail out here. It's well worth a visit!
