Calm before the storm ...

Headed out to Michaux Forest this morning for the 11th annual Iron Cross Ultra-Cross Race. It was my first time doing this race - 68 miles of rolling fire roads. leg-braking climbs, screaming descents, rocky singletrack and a little pavement thrown in to link it all together. It was a ridiculously fun day on the bike! Didn't stick around for places, but finished in under 5 1/2 hours riding my Niner ...
