From Sardinia to Tor Wood

Dawn went off to a fitness class so I packed the boys into the car for a wander round Tor Wood this morning. We were just mooching about; the boys going daft with sticks, me still exploring the new camera, when we were approached by a couple asking in broken English about the Tappoch Broch. Turns out they were from Sardinia visiting Scotland and were keen to see the broch as it is similar to structures found in Sardinia. Sent them up the path and off they went. Had to shout on them a few times as they were going of piste a bit. Headed up to the broch ourselves and had a look about, no sign of the Sardinians though. Wandered off and found them again still going in circles through the woods so I took them back the broch. The boy was fair excited about the whole place and seems to know quite bit about it. A quick ciao and then we disappeared back into the forest. Ten minutes later I'm giving directions to an English couple, I had no idea the Tappoch Broch was on the tourist maps these days. Worth a visit, though don't expect the camera totting tourist guide to always be there.

Back to the house for rolls and lorne and Stornoway black, garden tided a bit, bike washed and lubed and MTB brake blocks changed, that needs some work on the gears before the Cairngorms in a few weeks though.
