NFL Sunday

Up at 10.30 am this morning, had breakfast then watched a bit of Strictly on the telly from last night. It is going to be so good this year.

Hayley gave me a lift up to the Bowling Club this afternoon, had a couple of beers with my mate Gordon then down the road for my tea. This was the closing day today so the flag was lowered, I thought maybe a wee bugle playing the Last Post would have been in order .... maybe not. Watching the NFL now on TV. We as a family love the American Football, I am a Jets fan and so is Euan; Hayley and Gavin are Giant's fans but Cheryl doesn't really bother who wins just as long as we are happy.

I remember when we came home from New York, Euan was wearing his Jets top on the plane and Gavin was wearing his Giant's top. The Air Steward said lots of fights in your house with those tops. For you people that don't know the history, Giants and Redskins play in the same division NFC East and are bitter rivals.

So the blip tonight is of the Jets, Redskins and Giants strips. Jets (Green), Redskins (Maroon) and Giants (Blue). The helmet is a Washington Redskins one. They have all had quite a bad start to the season, hopefully things will improve.
