Tripod Times

One of the annoying things about Blip is the way everyone else's pictures look crisp and clear, and mine look a bit ragged and blurry. Discounting the theory that this is because I'm a talentless oaf, I thought I'd try and find out the reasons behind this. So assuming a) I'm amazing b) my camera is good (it's a Canon DSLR) and c) it's on a tripod and using the self-timer to eliminate shake, all things being equal, my hoots should be amazing. Well. As you can see, the results are pretty average. Grrr. Advice welcomed...I've a horrid feeling it's due to my rubbish lens, and the only way to resolve this will to spend loads of cash.
