I got to spend a whole day with

Visited Dad and Ann. We were all taken out in the new F-Type jag...1 at a time, obviously as it is only a 2 seater. James got the best run apparently, Corin and I were beleagured by Sunday drivers, which frustrated Dad as he really wanted to open the car up and make it go "raaaaaaaaarrrrrrr". I have a definite case of car envy now. James, despite some issues with the alignment of his hair afterwards, described his journey as "awesome" and I did not feel obliged to question his use of the word.

Afterwards, we mooched over to Sandbach to have coffee and cake with LisaLou. Doesn't matter how many miles divide us, or months (or years) between seeing each other - we slip comfortably back into conversation, much of it very silly.

My favourite quote of the day was Lisa describing a piece of a new car "one of those tubes that sticks out of the top of cars and makes silly boy noises"...
I will leave you to decide what she was describing. Had me in stitches.

Lovely to see you lovely Lisa. I didn't post any of the pictures from our associate as we were squinting, and that doesnt create a flattering image (for me anyway, Lisa looked beautiful as always!)
