REDRUM

School holidays. We are now entrapped by the horror of having our vacationing dictated to us by our 6 year olds school year. We now realize just how spoiled we have been having the freedom to go on holiday where and when we like and for as long as we like. We also now realize how much pricier it is to holiday at peak times. :-* hey ho. A new chapter and all.
So a package tour (our very first) was the solution for a little pre-Winter sun and the destination, Mallorca. We are staying what appears to be a Norwegian enclave!!! Nothing quite like meeting the locals!!!
A fun first day has been had though what with swimming and a very delicious lunch (off resort). Some touring about the old town then more swimming.
After dinner little S and I came back to the room before Bjornico and wee B and I couldn't help but feel Shining associations when I turned into the hall. I was half expecting a kid on a cart to come trundling down the corridor!! It shows that I've read a few book reviews about the new Stephen King novel which is a follow up to The Shining. (I was an avid King fan as a teenager and the new books has had some decent write ups.)
