Three guys that got together and made stuff.

After a week away, what better Blip to welcome one and all back to Birmingham than this monument dedication to three pioneers.

Matthew Boulton, James Watt and William Murdoch.

All three accomplished great things and made huge contributions to mechanical engineering and the trio was based right here in Birmingham.

This monument stands in front of the House of Sport, opposite Centenary Square where the new Library of Birmingham has recently opened (photos to come).

While the three were great in their field, only two of them had colleges named after them.
