Late light on the Llangollen canal
This stretch of the canal is particularly beautiful with a lovely long sinuous curve on one side and Blakemere on the other, I could almost find a different photo here every day of the year.
The light was low and strong this evening and so in the 30 minutes or so I had whilst my model from yesterday went for her run (hoping to rejoin next week if the knees have recovered) I took quite a few photos, this one in the end just shaded it.
Earlier I had ventured up to Whixall Moss to play with lenses, I need a lot of practice to get used to the 70-200 (beautiful, sharp and heavy) but was quite pleased with these dragonflies for a first attempt.
