back to the light

A canal boat appearing from the tunnel just before the aquaduct at Chirk. This was the midway point on our circular walk today. It was 5 miles but took us 4 hours... Too many photo stops I guess.

The sun came out in the afternoon so what better than a glass of wine on the patio. Then a roll around on the lawn! Seriously... there were loads of butterflies (red admiral, comma and small tortoiseshell) enjoying the windfalls from the apple trees. So there was I down at their level taking photos. I think there are some good ones (done no editing yet) but my blip has to be linked to the walk.
