Red at the Farmers' Market
The Farmers' Market in Wolvercote was in Harvest Festival mode today. The fine redcurrants fit well with the harvest theme. And the red theme was repeated with these excellent raspberries that we are enjoined to freeze for Christmas (but they will not be anything like as good after thawing).
Another stall was offering empanadas, that looked very tasty, and here they being selected for a lucky customer.
We were in part in the playground of the local school. The playground also saw the inevitable Morris Dancing, which was skillfully executed.
Morris Dancing is probably a healthy activity, but eating these yummy churras is almost certainly not, despite the claimed provenance of the ingredients.
