Treating Myself

After a busy weekend I thought I would treat myself to a beer. Not just any beer, the little label on the bottle has the date 11/3/99 and it is one of my Dad's last brews that he did before he died. It tasted fine and the flavour brought back good memories.

The glass is a bit special as well, it was a momento from the 2005 Freckleton Half Marathon, Bigbikerides always provides great momento's for his races. The 2005 race was not one to remember for me, it was so hot and my time for the race was a personal worst after I was reduced to walking a couple of times.

It did cross my mind that it can't often be the case that the beer is older than the glass that it is in!
