ish

roses, which are very red in life, are always only red-ish on auto settings. annoying - i really must get round to working out the settings to get them truly red.

three days off, one day back, one day off tomorrow, so am only at work-ish this week - was rather hard to get back in the mindset today.

one step forward, one back - how can you just end the sentence saying 'yeah, i noticed' without saying what it was you noticed? here-ish isn't good: be here entirely, it's only for a minute, 60 seconds, and i'll happily let you go on your way and not bother you as the work builds up.

EDIT: a year ago - not a good night (understatement). it's been a whole year since you promised me we'd talk about this and we still haven't. maybe you're next door so you can't see the elephant in the room, but he's still there whenever i open my eyes. talk about it, get it in the open, fix it, agree where we are and be done. i have no intention of beating you up about this forever, but i also have no intention of letting you think all is well. i'm not fine, and if you think i am then you're more fool than i care to think.
