Ladybird

Ladybird,ladybird fly away home
Your house is on fire and your children all gone,
All except one,
And her name is Ann,
And she hid under the baking pan.

This nursery rhyme dates back to at least 1744 when it appeared in a collection of nursery rhymes. Gruesome isn't it?

Anyway ladybirds have been a real rarity this summer so when I was cutting back the poison ivy and saw this little bug it had to be my blip for today! Not very sharp ,as the photography club in Louth would say, but good enough for me!
