Failing miserably at blip at the moment. Although it's becoming even more part-time, I'm not prepared to give up just yet. I'm gradually catching up with journals, but have had to give up on responding to comments at the moment. Sorry :(

Lovely weekend with a bit more time to relax. Caught both a great film yesterday ('Blue Jasmine') and celebrity spot at the cinema ... Barry Humphries (aka Dame Edna Everidge), followed by nice meal. Mmm.

Today a stroll from St Paul's to the BFI to pick up my London Film Festival tickets. I was unaware of the drama unfolding upriver ... one of those Duck Boats caught fire and the poor passengers had to hurl themselves into the Thames!

The Duck Tours website states: "No river cruise in London gives you the excitement of leaving the road and entering the Thames in such dramatic fashion and no River Thames boat cruise is as quirky as a London Duck Tour." I'll say!
