Scrap

We have just started renting a large log shed which is next to a derelict farmhouse which is due to be demolished to build a new house. We had a little wander around and I spotted this inscription on one of the stones on the gable end. It also had the date 1817. We think this pre dates the house. Maybe it was scrap stone from a stone masons yard.
