Early grocery shopping as usual and on the way home we drove right through to Arbroath harbour and had a wander round in the sunshine. Maeve the Deerhound likes to go right to the edge of the quay and look down at the water.

Back home, shopping put away, then out for a walk. From the bridle path we could see tractors in action. The field where the potatoes were harvested has been fertilized and is being ploughed. The field across the road from the side of our house has a tractor working in it too. Dragging a harrow of some sort over the stubble. I assume prior to ploughing.

Waves are breaking on the rocks at the shore in the freshening breeze.

The Dunhill Links Championship was won by David Howell of England at the second hole of a playoff with Peter Uhlein of the USA. They had tied on 23 under par after 4 rounds.
