Emley Moor

Heading back to Leeds after a day out in Sheffield, decided to have a look at possibly my favourite structure in the UK. There's something so majestic about this spike sticking out of a field that can be viewed from south of Sheffield to beyond the north of Leeds. From a distance on the M1 it looks like a giant spike in a field.
I worked there once, for one day (back when the NTL buildings in Seacroft were still operational). Sadly, it didn't involve a trip in the lift to the top.
