Painting by George William Carrington

This is a painting by my great grandfather. I nearly threw it away as it was so damaged, but decided I could match the colours and fix the various chips and holes. I was pleased with the result.

I am just finishing completing a book of photos of his paintings. I have over a hundred painting photos. All needed some work from cropping the photo to squaring it up, and occasionally digitally a new mat, or removing a little foxing.
Realised I had missed a nice one of red sails in Dunedin Harbour so that will complete all I am doing.
