Last Saturday Afternoon of September

The temperature climbed to about 90 degrees this afternoon, so late in the afternoon we both agreed that time in the pool would be refreshing. The view was lovely too.

The three pooches all laid by the pool's edge on the towels I had placed there for them. I took a plate of sliced apples and a little cup of peanut butter to snack on. The pups really thought they should have some too, so I gave them each a piece of apple. That did not satisfy their "want" but I knew better than to give them some apple dipped in peanut butter, so eventually they calmed and finally snoozed for a while.

I can hardly believe we only have two days of September left.
