Racing for Ricky

We went to Berwick tonight to watch a special speedway meeting, held to raise funds for the Berwick Bandits No.1, Ricky Ashworth.

Ricky has been in a coma after sustaining a head injury during a meeting in early August. Speedway fans up and down the country have been raising funds to support the Ashworth family.

It's an exciting sport to watch and it's easy to forget the risks these guys take every time they race.
