Cat and mouse

This wasn't my original choice of blip today and isn't even as clear or as good as my original choices. In fact I actually came home from work via Inverleith pond to take some blips. However when I got home Marbles was intently looking at something near my fireplace, ignoring me. She usually jumps down from wherever she is sleeping and comes over to see me so I walked over to see what she had spotted.

Thinking it would just be a spider or such like; I gently pulled away the rug and saw a small mouse cowering near me. I put the rug back before Marbles caught it again and grabbed my waste paper basket and a magazine. Surprisingly I managed to direct the mouse into the bucket with the magazine without too much difficulty. Putting the magazine on top of the bucket Marbles realised what I had done and sat staring out this wee mouse that started squeaking away.

I went to get my camera thinking this would be a good blip for today. It hasn't come out as well as I would have liked but I figured I wouldn't get many other opportunities to do one like it.

I think I have confused Marbles though as she is still looking for her 'toy'!
