Home for the Week

After a comfortable flight from Gatwick ( my first time in Club Class, very nice ) we were met at Pisa Airport by John Gravett and Jimmy McCracken for the drive to Jimmy and Angela's beautiful converted farmhouse Pian del Colombaio set amongst vineyards in the Tuscan hills.

Not letting the grass grow under our feet the group visited a ruined barn for some evening photography before a wonderful dinner prepared by Angela followed by a show of pictures of the area and convivial chat.

I just about stayed awake long enough to blip this snap of the farm our home for what promises to be a memorable week.
