I'd spent the day doing digging and leveling work on the new terraced veg patches, while the girls were out doing girly things with Jacqui; dance glass and kids party.

After kids tea Alice and me went for a wonder to see the straw bails in the farmers field and then wondered back on the beach. An absolutely stunning evening, fantastic light. Calm, mild and birds making plenty of noise. Changing colours coming on the trees and some leaves starting to drop all ready.
