Five years in the making...
We had our extension done five years ago, but there were a couple of jobs I needed to do and in our en-suite bathroom, but had kept putting off making more and more elaborate excuses!
A section of skirting board was added after we decorated the bathroom, so it had been wood until today. While I was painting the skirting board, I carried on and redid all the wood work, including the door where I had filled some holes from attempted hook hanging.
The pipes under the towel rail were copper, but now in a more pleasing white. The trim above tiles has finally been added, as have the finishing trims for the towel rail (which I fixed a couple of weeks ago, after it had stopped working about four years ago!)
The tiles which fell off and broke when I fitted the side of the bath have been re-cut and stuck on, but will need to wait until tomorrow to be grouted.
As I made such a mess, I scrubbed the whole bathroom, including the floors, windows and behind the toilet and sink. Cleaned the mats and towels, so it finally feels like that new bathroom we should have had five years ago!
