Dublin Shooter

Shadowy lane

Oh dear, the only shot taken today, and not even with my gorgeous new and delighted-to-have-it Finepix X100. It's just a laneway on the way back home after an after-music drink with guys from the music group after hosting today's session.

I was full of the best intentions to do the cleaning and tidying last night, or at least make a start. That didn't happen, so I set the alarm early enough to leave plenty of time to get everything done without having to rush. Fine in theory, but not in practice. One glance at the clock when the alarm went off was enough to establish that I'd left far too much time, so I rolled over for a little extra snooze. Bad plan! Reawakening was long in coming, and panic set in.

Somehow I managed to make the place at least presentable in my one-armed way, and I like to think that nobody left feeling that my household skills are hopelessly inadequate. The session was a good one, with a lovely mix of music and chat, and our little gathering in the local pub was equally enjoyable. This iPhone shot was intended to be a just-in-caser, but then it turned into a woops-that's-all.
