Britains Biggest Coffee Morning!

Took Grandma to the Macmillan coffee morning which was nice! Then a last minute change of plans in the evening to go to the Junior school Quiz and Chips! Our team won, hurrah!! We were heavily carried by a guy called Alex.. We just got drunk!!

Yesterdays blip got a few people talking and I found out that the island is called Furze Hill which is situated beside Deadman Hill!!
Furze Hill means hill covered with a tough shrubby type of bush called Gorse, which would not normally be associated with Cambridgeshire. However, if you have gone up to Furze and Deadman's Hill this February you would have seen the Gorse bushes in full blossom, which are spectacular, apparently!
