Clean Carby

Tonight I started cleaning my Land Rover carby. It comes up quite good with some soap, water and a scourer. This is going to be quite a project. I ordered a kit on ebay late this afternoon. eBay was my last resort because there are no other suppliers in Australia. The Solex Carby was replaced by the Zenith and later the Weber. Both can be substituted for this one but I am going to try to keep it original.

Why?

Well maybe it is the "British Made" stamp on the body. A bit like me really.
