Scary !!!

Walking over the headland at Marloes, Pembrokeshire in lovely warm sunshine. Polly doing what Polly does - investigating the heath and scrubland when - there it was - right by our feet on the path - an ADDER !!!
Never seen one before - and it was quite a striking thing - but we suddenly realised how fortunate Polly was, that she hadn't stood on it :-(
Poor Polly - had to go on the lead for a while !
