Cheeky lie in today. 8:30 is my new idea of a lie in compared to the 6 oclock starts during the week. I had such a good cuppa at breakfast and a lovely chat with my aunt while everyone else had already left to work and school.

I then met with Hana Ida and Charlotte and we spent the afternoon picnicking at Parc Tète D’or making the most of the heat and perfect blue skies. After a roundtrip on the metro lines (because we are unable to read signs properly) we headed to Part Dieu to get some stuff. The shopping centre was packed, because the Lyon basketball players were presenting something in a square, attracting large crowds of people.

In the evening I sat on my bed with my cousin, talking and listening to music together. She’s the older one of the two girls, and sees me a lot as a bigger sister. So she’s happy to have someone who is willing to take her places and do things with her. A good and very food-filled day today, just the way I like it.
