Tired old eyes

Finally went to get my eyes tested yesterday, only a year late. A battery of eye charts, puff tests, retinal photography, visual range tests etc etc etc....at least that was what my left eye got, my right eye got winced at. "What's the smallest line of letters you can read?" "There are letters?" So my bank account is lighter, new glasses are being built by the Optic Gnomes and a letter is on its way to the hospital to get my cataract operated on. Fun and games.
