Fake Iowa Palm Tree

Is there anything better than a lighted artificial palm tree in Iowa?

I think not...

Went to visit friends at their 'Lake House' in north central Iowa. Crossed the Mississippi one last time and it actually did feel resort-like, fake palm tree and all.

Thanks Terry & Gail for a wonderful time at your beautiful lake house. Who knew Iowa could have such splendor??
