The Polar Shake

We had a great day at the Toledo (Ohio) Zoo. Me, Merrick, and Grandma. Merrick was good all day. He usually won't ride in a stroller, preferring to push it himself...but...he stayed in it about 80% of the time today.

I think he liked the tigers, and the elephants the best. Grandpa liked watching this Momma polar bear, and her 2 cubs. So fun to watch.

We are staying in a hotel in Piqua, Ohio. We were not sure how it would go, but between the zoo, and a late night swim...he is tuckered out, and is now asleep.

Again...WAY too many pictures on my FLICKR PAGE,/url] but I had so much to pick from...including my entry for the children's book Everybody Poops. (I apologize for that one in advance.) Hint...it is the largest of the animals. Like Merrick said..."That's icky."

Tomorrow, we are off to...the...the...the...(wait for it)...the OHIO GOURD SHOW!!! I just hope I can sleep tonight. The excitement level is high...knowing all the gourdgeous gourds are waiting for me.

So...now you have something to look forward to, and that is going to be...pictures of gourds.

We didn't tell Merrick, but I'm sure he will be thrilled.
