Teasel

I went running down to Basingstoke Common tonight. I stopped for a while to watch the kite boarders do their scary looking stuff. (high speed traverses of the common and jumps that see them go about 6 feet in the air). Not the easiest thing to photograph so I settled for this shot of teasel.
This plant grows in great profusion down here, back home in Scotland it tends to be quite scarce.
