These as background reading for school topic wok. Fascinating to read about the lives of men like Siegfried Sassoon. Also a beautiful extract from Vera Brittain's book 'Testament of Youth', which I read as a young woman and it brought home what families had endured. So glad it's Friday. Enjoy the weekend.
