When Your World is Full of Strange Arrangements...

Today was about Fun...

K moved house last week and has endured a week of stress as she tried to fit the warehouse of Next Furniture which she bought into a three bedroom house.

I promised her that today would just be fun. No stress.

I dragged some little gifts up to celebrate the Fanny House, in Violent Fart, and discovered that wasn't the actual address. She fibbed.

We make ourselves almost sick immediately by eating one of the presents, which was supposed to last her all weekend.. Please note : Cup cakes should be eaten in ONES and then with a day at least between.

Then we set off on our adventure. We screamed at the signpost because we thought it was a loose Lion. Dearie me. This did not bode well.

But it was all good. We had lots of animals which looked like they came from Narnia, we had lions, Elephants, bears, Tigers, meercats, otters, seals, and then the giraffes and a little island with those funny monkeys with big stripy tails.

We walked enough to walk the cupcakes off, and still didn't feel ready for food, but we stopped for a coffee and then boarded a boat to Ape Island which was captained by Andy Murray, who looked at Me and K suspiciously (People always look at the two of us suspiciously), and shook his head as we contemplated Sea-sickness.

We were horrified, and yet strangely excited to hear that the reason one side of the board had mesh up was because the Chimps liked to throw things at the passengers :-) And even more horrified to hear that the chimps hunted... DUCKS AND PHEASANTS.

After an exceptionally exhausting 3 hours we headed off looking for food again. K stopped at an amazing weird place, and after ordering she decided we should run without eating or paying. I made her stay, mainly because the man behind the bar appeared beside himself with excitement that he had customers who (a) weren't as pissed as everyone else, and (b) actually wanted to eat.

We survived a main course and then exited whereupon K immediately stopped at M&S and bought a Profiterole Mountain, which, as you do, we ate in the car.

At last, back to Fanny Hoose, and A quick feet up for a couple of minutes before heading back home down the road, and snuggle up on the couch and laugh at my photos.

K on the other hand, is now necking back the wine and someone else is dealing with her madness!

Thanks K for a Fun Day!
