An actual lazy day today, a day in which we actually did not have any obligatioin to do anything, see anyone or be anywhere. So we did just that. Our morning was spent watching a film and having a lie-in, and then in the afternoon we did pretty much the same thing again. It is great to just be able to do nothing and not have to worry about being anywhere.
Bit annoyed with the camera shop, as I had specifically gone in the day before to make sure that they could get my sensor cleaned and finish it before the day was over so I could take a picture for Blip etc. It came to 5pm and I still hadn’t heard from them…this is after having my camera for the best part of a late afternoon the day before and all day today…so I decided to give them a ring to see what was happening. No answer. Ended up with Thom and I heading into town to see in person what was happening to said camera. Arrived at the shop to find that it hadn’t even been touched all day…and with a meal to go to that evening with my parents, I was not sure as to whether we would have the time later to get it when it was closing time. Ended up with Dad, Thom and I going back to said shop to get the camera back after it had shut…don’t know what would have happened if I hadn’t’ve gone into the shop to see what was occurring with it. I guess that they would have just ignored it and left it until tomorrow. A little bit of a shame since I specifically asked if it could be done in less than the course of a day.
Anyhows, so we went out for a meal of at The Hop Vine with my parents…again, enough vegetarian food on the menu to please Thom, and the best ale on offer in the area you can’t go wrong! Absolutely lovely meal, and of course we had to make room for dessert too!
After a lovely chilled out time when we got back in front of the television, Thom and I then had a very surprise Skype phone call in the form of a rather drunken Laura and Tobi. Many brilliant quotes from the two of them, and all too rude to put on here! Oh, and this is April…deliberate focus on her nose rather eyes….I wanted to show her very cute little pink nose, even though her very quizzical expression is also very nice!
