Beat the Drums for Attention

Beat the drums was the title chosen for the UN celebratory document that described the continuous effort by adult learners, educators and providers to promote learning and to encourage a unique set of approaches to engaging adults in learning.

The aim is to motivate learners to be part of and actively influence the reflexive process they are involved in.

Adult learners' weeks are important ways for showcasing the ways in which individuals expand their competences, skills and self appreciation whilst at the same time contributing to the building of healthy, stable communities in which people can explore shared culture, develop entrepreneurial abilities and work together as active citizens.

The forthcoming adult learners' week will be the 23rd year-I know it's going to be our best.
