McCormick Isles

My intention today was to try and get you an otter blip, that is a difficult task but the good intention was there. I drove down to a place I have seen otters frequently and gathered together my boots, bino's and camera gear. Before I left the car I met the shepherdess who was setting out to bring some old ewes home. We started blethering..

In the meantime a couple of bird watchers appeared and set out...we were still blethering. When I finally set out the bird watchers had seen the otters and frightened them away. Sorry no otters for you so you must make do with this shot of the McCormick isles. The distant hills are, I think, Gigha and the Mull of Kintyre.

I seek to be forgiven for too much blethering and maybe next time I will find an otter for you
