Backblip #3

This was the stunning afternoon view we were treated to after knock off every day during build week. The beautiful rocky koppjies (Afrikaans for mountain) were illuminated in brilliant reds and oranges with the sun's afternoon glow. Fresh from the local shop, with savannah dry's (the best cidar ever!) in hand we were always eager to get back to camp for a hard earned sundowner and lots of laughs. Along the way we often spotted a female ostrich duo that we nicknamed 'Thelma and Louise', a small heard of springbock and numerous rock daasies (hyraxes) catching the last of the sun.
