All the flowers in my garden

A calm and peaceful day with a few hours of Household Management. Then I sat down and nearly fell asleep for a couple of hours. Coffee with Claire, school runs and soon my mum and dad are coming round for a takeaway. All Fridays should be like this.

My nearly three week old birthday roses finally gave up the ghost today, I picked every flower in the garden to replace them. This vase full makes me very happy but my gardening assessment of 2013 is "could do better with more application". This is a comment very familiar to me from my school days, I managed to regularly ignore it then but with my more grown up attitude (ha!) I shall try harder next year.
