Holne Bridge in Autumn
I popped out to Holne Bridge on Dartmoor this afternoon. It was so nice to see the weather brighten a little and it was a pleasure to be out. By the bridge, the rocky banks of the River Dart had a scattering of golden brown beech leaves which was a little extra bonus.
There was no sign of any hedgehog activity last night I'm afraid. This morning when I looked out there was a big fat slug helping himself, yeuch! Still, the big fat slug could make a good contribution to Mr Hedgehog's diet, so it all works out!
Thank goodness it's Friday, not because it's the end of the working week but because it's curry night.
I hope you'll be getting some too!
David
