Himself and I

It was a great treat to meet up with Mark today - the famous Himself from Molly (Amalarian, Tuscany)'s husband. For more recent blippers, Molly was one of the best. Generous, a wonderful and tireless commenter, and a fine portrayer of life as an expat journalist turned olive oil producer in the heart of Tuscany. In May 2011, Molly posted a lovely shot of Luigi the dog, collapsed, was taken to hospital and died a few hours later. So many blip friends were in grief. Her last blip had 25,000 views and 500 comments. Himself and I shared an hour and a half of news and reminiscences. The dogs, Luigi and Cloud, have recently died and have been replaced by two from the local rescue. What a gap Molly leaves here, but Mark struggles bravely on. His book on Molly's life is at the proof reading stage.
