Lucy and Nina - ladies who lunch.

His Lordship and I took the train through to "The Dear Green Place"" this morning to have coffee with friends and lunch with a daughter, Lucy, and Grandaughter, Nina, who will be one next month. Already she is quite a character and kept us entertained while we ate.
We managed to get there and back with the minimum of rain which was unexpected given the forecast. We then had a valedictory meal at home with David77, his eldest sister, her husband and daughter. It turned into a hilarious meal as David77 entertained us with his merry quips and riotous behaviour with his 10 year old niece. We will miss him when he leaves tomorrow - he does make us laugh when he is around. We also had an unexpected visit from EcoDad who popped in to say goodbye to him. It was nice to meet a fellow blipper face to face.
