Sheep's Head Broth and other delights
Moving stuff back into the now rebuilt conservatory I came across this cookery book from the late 1950s or early 60's which, I think, came with a long departed gas cooker. It includes advice on cooking delights such as sheep's head broth and calf's foot stew. A section on 'dishes for the invalid' advises small amounts of food "too much on one plate is frightening to an invalid" - no sheep's head broth for the invalid then.
